Turning Pain Into Protection & Hope
Collins lived for one year. In that one year, he changed everything. His mother, Keckan Rubaba, turned the deepest grief a parent can carry into a foundation that now protects women and children across Tanzania.
Born From Loss. Built On Love.
Some foundations are built from strategy. Ours was built from grief.
We are a Tanzanian family who faced the kind of loss that changes everything. In that darkness, we made a choice: to turn unbearable pain into something that protects others. That choice became this foundation.
We work in the communities we come from, in Iringa, across Tanzania, and wherever women and children are being left behind. We do not work from offices far away. We live here. We know these roads, these families, these struggles personally.
Everything we do is built on one belief: that the most vulnerable people in our communities deserve more than sympathy. They deserve action, resources, and people who will show up for them, not once, but consistently, for as long as it takes.

One Year. One Life. One Decision That Changed Everything.
In 2026, Keckan Rubaba gave birth to twin boys. One of them was Collins.
Collins lived for one year. He was loved completely by his mother, by his family, by everyone who held him. And then he was gone.
There is no right way to survive that kind of loss. But Keckan found her way through it by asking one question: what would it mean to honor Collins in a way that keeps protecting people, the way she could not protect him?
The answer was this foundation.
Every program we run, every mother we support, every child we reach Collins is in all of it. His life was one year long. His legacy has no end date.
